I have old vintage toys, Japanese robots; Sideshow collectibles; action figures.,etc. I wanted to trade, buy or sell with other collectors.
Howdy John, I'm a fellow toy collector and I have had no luck with any clubs, well none that are active anyway. I collect anything from Japan plus Legos , action figures (any) Pokemon (for the kids) , mostly 70's and 80's toys. Send me an email. I'd like to know what you have.
With more than 90 million figures created over the last 15 years, the Power Rangers 5″ action figure is by far the most popular toy in this legendary lineup. And the 2008 season is sure to be a hit with the new Sound Fury figures. The Red Tiger, Blue Jaguar, Green Elephant, Black Bat and Blue Shark Rangers come equipped with a shock sensor that triggers unique sounds during play. Collect and combine weapon accessories from multiple figures — including the Yellow Cheetah Ranger, Dai Shi and Melle with Flit the Fly figures — to create larger weapons.

This was uploaded for a friend of mine who wanted to see how my collection has grown.
[I plan to re-paint and polish most of these figures]
This is my collection of Dragonball toys, which has grown over the years, beginning back in 1997 sometime. Most of the figurines from the ’90s (Bandai’s original SUPER BATTLE collection_, have disappeared, been given away, thrown away, destroyed, etc. I have only a few remaining from that series; [Buu Era]: Krillin, Kid Trunks, Goten, Vegeta[3in], Trunks(w/ sword).
I suppose I’m allowing the collection to still grow, however I’m not avid about it anymore, nore do I have the money to invest in it.
This all began in 1997, when I first got interested in Dragonball Z. I learned of it from friends, and Cartoon Network’s original airing (Ocean dub), which was airing The Saiyan Saga at the time. Since I did not want to wait for the entire series to be dubbed, I got my hands on many Japanese VHS tapes and VCDs, via eBay. I don’t believe I still have all of the VHS tapes an VCDS, however I do recall most that I bought to be not even C- quality, when they were ‘A’ “guaranteed” by the seller. The VHS tapes were the worst of the two- they were larger in size and amount[291 eps, 30+ tapes maybe], and the quality was usually horrid. At least with the VCDs you could run the episodes on your PC, and often they would come with several Dragonball Z music videos, set to tracks from massively popular bands all over the United States during the ’90s. I managed to finish the series, including the original Dragonball, all films, and Dragonball GT, not to say in any sort of good quality. Eventually I waited for Cartoon Network to run it all, and to my surprise, it turned out splendid.
In this collection, you will find:

I have noticed that collectible items (such as vintage action figures, etc.) are not selling, or are selling for very cheap on E bay, despite their high listing prices. Is E bay's presence lowering the price of collectible items by making them more available to collectors?
It can go both ways. It makes supply and demand limited to a time frame. Fairly simple concept when you think about it. The price can go well above fair market value if there are many people that want the item. Also if there are not many people that want the item then it could go for below fair market value.
Its not that they are making them more available to collectors that is the cause, its more of the limited amount of people actully interested in the item at the same time. Lets say every vintage starwars action figure collector was on ebay looking for the figures then you can pretty much bet that the price would be fair market value if not higher because of the "excitement" and "competition" of auctions.
At least thats how I see it, hope it makes sense.
