Great question. I have never thought about this until now. I wouldn't think it would matter much as I have bought several Godaikin figures from the 70's and the missiles have been inserted for over 30+ years and they worked fine. But of course Japanese toys from the 70's were built to the highest specs iimaginable and newer toys are not made as well in some toy lines. I couldn't actually give a definite answer without looking at the toys. But my first answer is they would be fine inserted.
References :
Displaying Action Figures With Spring Activated Parts In, Or Out?
I have several action figures and toys with spring activated parts, parts that shoot out when a button is pressed. I want to keep the figures and toys in as good condition as possible, so when they are displayed, should the parts be kept in the tightly coiled sockets? Or should the parts be kept out, relaxing the spring? Would keeping the parts in the spring sockets eventually weaken the springs?
